Training Shoes on Overweight People looks Dumb
By Jon • Aug 13th, 2008 • Category: JazzI have noticed that people that work with computers have a tendency to want to wear running shoes / training shoes and often this is people that are very overweight people. Referred to as “joggesko” in Norwegian. Shoes that look more like running shoes than regular sneakers.
See image for explanation of what kind of shoes that I am talking about:
Sales people don’t wear these kinds of shoes, they are more likely to wear some leather shoes. Something more fashionable and stylish.
That is likely connected with that when you sit in front of a computer all day appearance is of little relevance combined with a desire to be comfortable.
The point is that I think it looks incredible stupid for overweight people to wear these kinds of shoes. You should make a rule that if you have not done any kind of running or exercising the last two weeks you are not allowed to wear training shoes.
It seems to be a rule the more overweight a person is the more he needs these kinds of shoes. I suppose the more weight the more load on the feets.
