The markets

It is crazy times right now. I think it is crazier than the after shock in the stock markets after September 11.
A lot of money is disappearing into thin air now.
Something good may come of all the pain. Maybe people will wake up and realize that this mixed economy thing is not such a great experiment after all. And maybe start demanding more pure liberalism and back to basic capitalism without all this government manipulation.
The business cycles are getting more wild. Here’s an idea: Maybe anti-liberalism and anti-capitalism are not just problems for the so called rich. Maybe even normal people will feel the burn of a more vicious business cycle, rising prices, rising interest levels and being out of work. Well at least the poor are taken care of in the current social redistribution system…
So that means you should not fear your faith of becoming poor on the downside of the business cycle.
Well what is the connection between the business cycle and the government meddling? For the uneducated I subscribe to the ideas that inflation and business cycles are caused by government intervention in the money supply. And that a pure capitalistic system has a much more uninflatable money supply and a smaller government to inflate it.
Read some liberal books on the issue, maybe you see the light on some issues.
