Stavanger and Oslo are the only places where there are more jobs than real estate available.
The rest have fewer jobs available than apartments for sale.
The northern cities Bodø and Tromsø do not offer much work for people, but plenty of places to live. Tromsø seems to be the worst with 810 various apartments or houses for sale and only 79 jobs available. Worst as in over supply of real estate and bad job market.

The numbers are from Finn.

If you are young I recommend that you put yourself on a money saving program.

Try to save 30% of what you make each month, no matter how much or how little it is.

If you don’t have any money saved, this is what you currently will get in DNB NOR:

If you earn 500.000 NOK per year, you will be able to have a total loan burden of around 1.825.000 NOK. In that included any student loan, and common debt (”fellesgjeld”) on an apartment you buy.

If you earn 400.000 NOK per year, you will be able to have a total loan burden of around 1.460.000 NOK. In that is included any student loan, and common debt on an apartment you buy.

The formula is to multiply your yearly pretax earnings with 3.65 or something close to that.

So if you have 250.000 in student loan and earn 400.000 NOK, you will be able to buy an apartment for 1.210.000 NOK included any common debt (”fellesgjeld”).

What kind of apartment do you get for 1.210.000 NOK in Oslo? For example: Grünerløkka, 1 room, 23 square meter, 1.250.000 NOK total. Then you are 40.000 NOK short.

It is kind of depressing if you are poor. The only choices are become a capitalist or kill yourself. So I would recommend that you become a capitalist as soon as possible if you want a good life in Oslo. Get on with the money grabbing, don’t try to fight it, don’t be a socialist, welfare monger or artist.

If you want a low intensity life move as far away from Oslo or any other big city as possible.

Also if you are an artist et cetera that struggles to survive in Oslo consider not to reproduce. I don’t think life will be any easier for future generations of people that refuses to accept the game.

In the future there will only be rich and poor. Nothing in between. The sooner you chose side the less painful it will be.

I found 100 kr today. I found it on a chair inside a bank. It was on one of the customers chairs far away from the counter, so I don’t think the money belonged to the bank.

Also a just as important aspect is not to lose money. If you find 100 kr and later that day 100 kr falls out of you pocket you are just as far.

I always keep money inside my wallet. It is harder that this big wallet falls out without noticing it than a single bill.

So keep your eyes open! There is a lot of money to be found out there.

Today was my last day in the old job.

It does not feel good or bad. I only feel a bit tired.

There is a certain buzz in your head from that routine that has been hammered into your head for the last two years. Every day the same. Even if I will never look at those things again, it is there in your head. Impossible to get it out of your head.

It is sort of like when you have been at a concert with loud music. And afterward you hear the ringing in your ears. Usually the ringing goes away after a day.

So that is what I hope for, that the ringing or buzz or whatever you want to call it goes away during the next month of vacation.

To have peace there must be perpetual war.

You know the drug addicts that have to do all in their power to get as much money as they can for drugs? Plunder old women’s purses.

There are other forms of drug addicts, people who pay all their money to live in a nice apartment.

http://www.dn.no/dntv/nyheter/article1423256.ece

I wonder why the woman agreed to make a fool out of herself by agreeing to this interview. She tries to make the story sounds as somebody fooled her and so she play very naive.

Maybe that is part of the truth, but I think for women the whole battle to get a nice apartment is very important. It is in their genes to nest.

It sounds like she does not want any blame for being a greedy nester, but instead she wants it to sound like somebody took advantage of her. She did not earn a big amount of money, but the urge for nesting in a big nest took over. When that dream burst she blames the bank for giving her the loan.

48% or some number of percent of the population is women, and I don’t think they can resist their genes. That is why there is going to be a strong tendency to pay a big percentage of the money people earn into apartments and houses.

For the record men also have some bad impulses that relates to their genes. Can you name a few?

So my theory on housing prices will be that they will be high relative to people’s earnings because of the women’s urge to nest, and the men’s little will to disagree with the women. The total housing cost will fluctuate of course, but from high to very and extremely high. If she sees that it is possible to get a bigger and more flashy nest, she will demand it. The demand will keep the price high relative to how much money people earn.

Once a woman manages to lure a man into her web she will try to convince him that paying a lot of the money he earns into a nest is a sane thing. So the woman can start to nest, and show off that she has a big nest to the other women. She will then be the alpha nester.

From a man’s perspective he does not like to live in a small box. But if he has to live in a box for a while he can endure it. If he can get more space so he can be comfortable for a sensible price he would likely think it was nice and make a deal. But in general the man does not think it is a good thing to ruin himself by housing expenses, and he has fewer emotions attached to the box he lives in.

I am welcoming the whole global warming thing now.

I have bought a Matsui MPA9KWRN. I am not going to accept that it is impossible to be inside and to be sweating and almost dying of heat with no place to escape.

A regular fan could possibly work in the 60’s, but for global warming in 2008 that is just too little. And a fan does not really cool anything, it just puts the warm air in motion. So your sweat will evaporate faster.

You can go outside, but it will still be just as hot. Shopping will be the only escape since they usually have found it to enhance business to have it cool inside the store. Or you can stay at work if they have air condition.

I think this cooler thing will be a good thing to have because it is going to get even warmer before it gets colder. And I think the warmer part will probably last at least another 50 or 100 years.
